Most people, including myself, have been to Google Street View. If you haven’t, check it out real quick here, then come back so we can continue.
Back? Ok, so some ridiculous woman in Japan is suing Google because they apparently showed pictures of her undies hanging to dry outside of her home on Google Street View. She is suing for around $7 G’s, as this somehow forced her to lose her job. Plus the cost for moving, obviously…
Here is what she had to say about that horrible, sexual predator Google Street View.
“I was overwhelmed with anxiety that I might be the target of a sex crime,” the woman told a district court. “It caused me to lose my job and I had to change my residence.”
“I could understand if it was just a picture of the outside of the apartment, but showing a person’s underwear hanging outside is absolutely wrong,” the woman said.
I have to say I’m in Google’s corner on this one. Now I can understand some square chick being embarrassed that her skivvies are on the Internet, but you don’t really have that much room to bitch when you feel perfectly comfortable hanging your s**t outside for your neighbors to see.
But you know what’s bad? This isn’t even close to the craziest lawsuitthat has been tossed Google’s way.
