The Lingerie Football League, or LFL, will hold its annual Lingerie Bowl on February 6th, a day before Super Bowl XLIV in Miami.
The LFL, which uses the tag phrase “True Fantasy Football”, has come a long way from the first Lingerie Bowl in 2004. The 7 on 7 tackle football game was originally only 2 teams playing at halftime during the ’04 Super Bowl, but it has since grown into a 10 team league that plays a complete regular season and playoff.
With teams such as the Dallas Desire and San Diego Seduction, the league is obviously more for perverted men than for actual football fans. They do however keep stats, standings, and rankings to go along with their $7.95 per game Pay Per View single game pass.
I can only imagine the catch phrases that the announcers use. Here are a few catchy ones I could think of:
