Touchdown Jesus Gets Struck By Lightning, Burns Down
OK, so it’s not exactly Touchdown Jesus, but it was the largest Jesus sculpture in the US. Emphasis on “was.”
For all of you that have driven down 75 South headed to Cincinnati, you have seen the enormous statue of Jesus raising his hands into the air. The statue is known as Touchdown Jesus, or should I say, was known.
The 62 ft statue made of wood and styrofoam was struck by lightning last night and has coincidentally burned to the ground.
The statue, which is just as well known for its ridiculousness as it is being the H in just about every Ohio State fan’s O-H-I-O formation, is now nothing but rubble.
It is apparent that the soccer Gods are trying to tell us something.
More like the ACTUAL God trying to tell you something. Touchdown Jesus is in South Bend, IN, not some podunk highway in SW OH.

Can you believe the amount of money???? Christians – I think Jesus could of found a better purpose for that – maybe feed some homeless or help starving neglected children but no – someone thought they needed a ridiculously large church with an even more ridiculous statue of Jesus. And what’s this made out of butter business??

Exodus 20:4 says not to make any graven image in the heavens above.. Jesus is resurrected in all His glory, Why reduce him to a dumb image! Isnt our Lord and Savior Much greater than any image!
