It’s Time For Ozzie Guillen to Pack His S**t and Be Gone

It’s not news that there is a definite power struggle within the Chicago White Sox organization. Ozzie Guillen has made it perfectly clear that he has zero respect for his GM Ken Williams, and with the team riding-out a horrible record of 26-33 – 8.5 games behind division leader Minnesota – it is without question that some kind of change is needed.

The most recent Guillen comments directed at his GM has started a new tiff within Chicago-land, and if I had anything to do with it, it would be the last comments made by Guillen as White Sox manager. You can’t really tell by reading his comments since he rarely makes any f**king sense what-so-ever, but apparently Guillen got upset after the White Sox waited so long (22nd round) picking his son Ozney in this years draft.

”I give my kid 50 grand just to go to school [at the University of South Florida rather than sign with the Sox]. I got 50 grand in my pocket to send my kid to go to Niketown or buy something.”

Apparently, these comments, which are basically questioning the thought process of Williams’ draft, pissed off the GM so much that there was almost a fight when the men later confronted each other.

But my question is, why does Guillen continue to get away with all of his ridiculous actions? Because he had one good year? If I questioned every move that my boss made, you better f**king believe I wouldn’t get away with it for as long as he  has.

Guillen is the most annoying, unprofessional manager that I have ever seen in Major League Baseball. Not only does he take it upon himself to make sure that his GM looks like an ass, but the constant running of his mouth to anyone and everyone is not the way ANY team should want their team to be represented. I understand he won a World Series just a few years back, but it is obvious the honeymoon phase is over in Chicago.

But it’s not just the feud between him and his GM that has me flustered. It’s the tweeting, and the anti-Cleveland/LeBron ball that he signed, and the after game blow ups that make absolutely no sense. It’s a combination of all of his unprofessional, no longer motivating tactics that have completely run their course.

He reminds me of my high school baseball coach who would crack jokes and piss in the trash can in the dugout during games. Sure, he was fun to play for, but that was also the farthest thing from professional baseball.

I am not a White Sox fan, nor do I really give a f**k about Ozzie Guillen as a person. But there comes a time when you can only listen to some guy run his mouth for so long before he just needs to be told to shut the f**k up!

White Sox ownership needs to step up now and do something about the mess that has become of their organization. And I say, the first step has to be to get rid of their clown of a manager.
