Texas Will Join Pac 10, Or Stay in Big 12, Maybe SEC, Big 10 Has a Chance

The drama that continues to go around the college football landscape has been completely focused on the Texas Longhorns.

Will they stay in the Big 12? Will they jump ship along with other Big 12 teams and join the Pac 10? Will they completely shift regions and go by themselves to the Big 10? Or is it possible that the SEC could lure them and Oklahoma to join the greatest conference in football history! (so they would say)

I will be the first to admit that I have no f**king idea what Texas is going to do, and I have a good feeling neither does anyone else.

I have heard what seems like 50 different sources say one thing, and other reports say another, yet no one has any idea what the hell the Longhorns are actually going to do. And it is becoming quite clear that regardless of how many “credible news sites” claim they know what they are reporting, they are just as confused as I am.

It has gotten to the point that ESPN has actually “reported” that Texas will be joining the Pac 10 and staying in the Big 12 all in the same day. How am I supposed to show off to my friends and claim that I know what I am talking about if they are going to change their stories in the same day??!! ESPN! You are making me look like a fool!

It also doesn’t help that they also reported that the SEC coveted Texas just the day before. You would think these guys would try to pick an angle and stick to it? But who am I kidding? This is the Worldwide Leader we’re talking about!

At this point I’m not even sure Texas knows what they are going to do – which could be why there are so many different reports going around. Maybe they are just waiting to see who will give them the sweetest deal?

But if that’s the case, the Pac 10 doesn’t stand a chance. What kind of hunting and fishing options could they possibly offer?

UPDATE 8:31 pm – Texas announced that they are going to stay in the Big 12. F**king waste of time…
