Terrelle Pryor Plays Role of Team Designated Driver

Terrelle Pryor takes his role as leader of the Ohio State Buckeyes very seriously.

As starting quarterback, he knows that there will be times when he will have to put the team on his shoulders and carry them to victory – on and off the field.

In an interview with Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Pryor basically confessed that he will get late night phone calls from teammates that are too hammered to get home.

“When I go out, I am the first one to leave (for home), and I try to get guys to leave. I make sure guys don’t drink and drive. There are older guys who will call me when they are drinking.”

Talk about a great guy!

Now, there are a few different ways to interpret this statement.

1. Terrelle Pryor literally takes one for the team, and will come pick you up wherever if you are s**tty.
2. Terrelle Pryor’s Taxi Service is his side project.
3. He really meant that his teammates call him when they are drinking just to f**k with him, because he is at home while they are out getting loaded.

Whatever the reasoning, this has to be another one of those comments that makes coach Jim Tressel just slap his forehead in amazement. But like I said, maybe Terrelle Pryor really is just a fantastic guy that wants to make sure none of his teammates are on the road drinking.

I mean after all, everyone kills people.
