South African Man Killed By Family For Changing Channel To World Cup

Holy s**t!South African Man Killed By Family For Changing Channel To World Cup

61-year-old David Makoeya wanted to watch the World Cup, but his wife and two adult children weren’t having it.

His 68-year-old wife, 36-year-old son and 23-year-old daughter were watching a gospel program when he proclaimed his desire to watch soccer.

First, he tried grabbing the remote, but that didn’t work. So he got up to manually change the channel and that’s apparently when the violence ensued.

“He said, ‘No, I want to watch soccer,”‘ police spokesman Mothemane Malefo said Thursday. “That is when the argument came about.

“In that argument, they started assaulting him.”

“It appears they banged his head against the wall,” Malefo said. “They phoned the police only after he was badly injured, but by the time the police arrived the man was already dead.”

What. The. F**k.

First of all, everyone knows the man of the house gets the remote. You just don’t f**k with a man and his remote.

Secondly, this family was in dire need of some religious rescuing — obviously a little more saving than a gospel program could have provided. I wonder how God feels about their actions.

And don’t give me this “God would understand” bulls**t. This family is just f**king crazy!

All three family members were arrested, and the daughter was subsequently released on a whopping $200 bond.

The wife and son are still in custody.

The worst part is that he was trying to turn on the Germany vs. Australia match. Too bad he didn’t have internet, he could have just checked the scores to see it was a shellacking.

Which makes me wonder, just how many lives has the internet saved? Surely my wife wouldn’t kill me for changing Ghost Whisperer.

Would she?
