Once you think the Cincinnati Bengals could possibly be getting their act together when it comes to player conduct, 2009 2nd round draft pick Rey Maualuga reminds everyone that in order to play for the Bengals, you must be arrested at least once.
Maualuga, who started all 15 games of his rookie year before breaking his ankle, was arrested on drunken driving and careless driving charges in Kentucky early Friday morning. Apparently, he ran into a parking meter and then thought it would be a good idea to hit a few parked cars for good measure. I wonder if his wife was chasing after him with a golf club too?
What the hell is wrong with these dumbass athletes that continue to get arrested for DUI’s? Can they really not afford to take a cab, or at least have one of their “boys” pick them up and take them home? I can somewhat understand that athletes would not want to leave their expensive car if it is in a bad neighborhood or something, but Maualuga drives a 2003 Pontiac. Not exactly a prime target for grand theft auto.
