Regardless of what many people say, being in the Big 10 is a major privilege. While it might not be the #1 conference in any of the major sports, the Big 10 has a certain prestige factor that many of the other conferences do not have.
The Big East is one of these conferences.
And for some reason, Rutgers has been highlighting the list of teams that could be entering the Big 10 when and if the Big 10 decides to expand. I understand the “New York Market” is what intrigues the Big 10 about Rutgers, and it would go along way with bringing in more money from the Big 10 Network, but the fact is…Rutgers sucks.
The Big East is a complete joke in football – sometimes I wonder if they are even worthy of an automatic bid into the BCS. And even though the Big East and the ACC usually dominate basketball, Rutgers is still one of the last teams from the Big East that I would want to invite. Give me UConn, Pitt, I don’t give who the f**k else, just not Rutgers.
And seriously…if these are the type of the athlete that Rutgers has trying out for their sport’s programs,
then there is no way in hell they would make it in the Big 10.

wow didn’t realize rutgers had so many fans (5) … trust me the bid ten fans do not want Rutgers. They are trying to make it better, not worse.
