Rashard Mendenhall’s Bin Laden Tweets Are Just Incredible

I have heard some athletes say some pretty remarkable things, but I’m not sure I have ever heard an athlete make such a ridiculous statement as Rashard Medenhall’s most recent Bin Laden tweets.

As American’s, we all felt a sense of releif when we heard that Bin Laden was finally killed, as most of us remember just how awful the tragedy of 9/11 was. Apparently, however, Mendenhall had a different take on on the subject…

“What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side…”

Then, he also decided to reference 9/11…

“We’ll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style.”

Wow. That was my immediate reaction. And like I said, most things athletes say anymore really don’t surprise me, but this I just can’t comprehend. HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT STICKING UP FOR THIS HORRIBLE PERSON??!!

I rip athletes on a daily basis just because I can’t stand the team they are on. Well, Bid Laden is basically LeBron, Barry Bonds and Ty Cobb all mixed into one. Only he had a hand in killing a s**tload of innocent Americans, and Mendenhall ACTUALLY had the nerve to somewhat stick up for him. It makes me want to vomit all over myself.

This isn’t the first time that Mendenhall has made a stupid statement, but Jesus Christ, I really hope the Steelers take away this dude’s Tweeting abilities, because just when I didn’t think it was possible, I actually hate the Steelers more than I did yesterday.
