Rajon Rondo’s Arm Bent The Wrong Way [Video]

During last night’s playoff game against the Heat, Dwyane Wade flopped and pulled Rajon Rondo down with him for some inexplicable reason.

In an attempt to break his fall, Rondo extended his left arm. Unfortunately for his toothpick arm, it could not hold the weight of both men.

While the video below is not for the squeamish, it is no Theismann.

Rondo came back in and made some pretty spectacular plays in front of an adoring home crowd.

This was a little weird, though. The Celtics clearly had the game under control and there was really no reason Rondo had to come back in the game.

The first thing I thought was that he demanded to return because he knew it was possible he might not get to play for the rest of the season.

Adrenaline and some pain killers could get him through last night, but what happens when his broken arm revolts against his demands?

This is a very real possibility, despite his claims that he will play on Monday.

One thing it tells me: Rajon Rondo loves the f**k out of basketball.

Considering his injury could have been completely avoided, it makes me hate the Heat just that much more. As hard as it is to root for the Celtics, I don’t remember wanting an NBA team to win a series so bad in quite some time.
