Pete Rose and WWE Go Together Like Lamb and Tuna Fish

Hall of Famer, or should I say WWE Hall of Famer, Pete Rose made a special guest appearance last night in San Jose as he hosted the Monday Night edition of WWE Raw.

Known for his appearances on Wrestlemania in the late 90’s, Rose has found himself a new home after the sport that he helped prosper in the 70’s turned its back on him. (I understand he cheated, but come the f**k on)

His appearance last night was to set-up the match between Shawn Michaels and Kane in a no holds barred fight to the death. OK, not really, but it can’t be any less dangerous than Michaels’ last adventure.

Shawn Michaels had to take some time away from his VH1 show, “Rock of Love”, in order to fight Kane, probably due to needing extra time to fight infections from some of the dirty sluts that were on his show. What’s that? Oh, that’s ex-Poison frontman Brett Michaels? My mistake.

But where was I going with this?

Ah, yes, Pete Rose. With Pete not being able to do almost anything related to MLB, the WWE has taken him in with open arms and it couldn’t be a better fit. Rose was outcast by MLB for cheating, and all the nose-in-the-air executives in baseball don’t feel the need to let him back in.

The WWE has been a place where Rose can be the center of attention, which he loves, and at the same time get more fans that will bitch loud enough to get him back in baseball. Now all he has to do is go and conquer Nascar, and he will have such a deadly combination of obnoxious fans, even soccer hooligans would piss themselves.
