Apparently, the all-nude woman’s magazine Playgirl is trying to persuade Michael Vick to pose nude for one of their upcoming magazines, and they are willing to donate $1 million to PETA in order to make this happen.
A spokesman for Playgirl said, ” I sent the request to Michael Vick on Wednesday. But we haven’t heard back yet. I figured he paid back society for dog fighting, but what about the animals?
“This way he could donate a large sum to PETA and all he’d have to do is pose for the magazine! It’s kind of a win-win situation!”
The problem here for Playgirl is that they completely chose the wrong time to try and pursue Vick to do this. Vick is not nearly desperate enough at this time, for money or image reasons, to do something as drastic as this. If he had just gotten out of prison, or even better, once his NFL career is over within the next couple years, then it would be a perfect opportunity for Playgirl to entice Vick with this opportunity.
Although, with the amount of athletes willing to show their dongs on the Internet these days, Vick could just pull a Greg Oden and do it for free.
