Mike Brown Not Fired, Dan Gilbert Claims at Press Conference
Cleveland Cavs head coach Mike Brown has not been fired, Dan Gilbert claims at the press conference he held today at 2:30pm.
2008-09’s Coach of the Year could be finding himself looking for work. Even after leading the team to two straight seasons of having the best record in the NBA, it was clear that better coaching is needed to win in the playoffs.
He became just the 2nd coach in NBA history to win 60+ games in consecutive seasons without making the NBA Finals.
Initially, Brown was hired to stay out of LeBron’s way. He has done an admirable job of that, but it is also obvious that an actual coach is what they need.
