Michael Vick’s Birthday Party Ends With Someone Getting Shot

According to numerous reports, Michael Vick’s name is yet again being related to another act of violence during his 30th birthday party in Virgina Beach. But fortunately this time, it involves a human being.

Quanis Phillips, who was a co-defendant in the infamous Vick dog fighting trial, was shot around 2am Saturday night apparently after Michael Vick had already left the party. Virginia Police are saying that Vick “is of no interest to us“, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering Vick’s reputation as such an outstanding citizen.

Give. Me. A. F**king. Break.

This is a bad dude who is claiming to have turned his life around after serving 18 months in prison, and people have the nerve to actually believe him? Because, you know, there are no bad influences or anything in prison. And are we forgetting that this is still one of the most hated men in sports? I don’t care why Phillips was shot, but immediately saying that Vick had nothing to do with it is preposterous.

But in all fairness, it doesn’t sound like anyone really knows why Phillips was shot – but there are stories out there saying there is a chance Vick might have had a part in it. And even though Vick’s lawyer is saying that he was not present when the shooting took place, it doesn’t necessarily mean he had nothing to do with it.

One story is even saying that the shooting could have been over birthday cake being shoved in Vick’s face by Phillips, which I find hard to believe – but at the same time you just never know. It is obvious these guys aren’t exactly the brightest crayons in the Crayola Box.

So if Vick is on a such a short leash like Roger Goodell claims, an incident like this involving someone he was never supposed to be associated again might be the final straw in his NFL career. Although highly doubtful, as witnesses are apparently being uncooperative. Go figure.

I just hope that if he is guilty of being involved with this, he gets the highest punishment possible. It just doesn’t seem right that a son of a bitch like this continues to get chance after chance after chance.  Isn’t there a specific type of punishment in Utah for a scumbag like this?
