Is LeBron Ready to be the Most Hated Man in Cleveland?

Fellow Cleveland fans, I feel your pain.

What the hell is LeBron going to do? Every rumor out there has to do with LeBron going to Chicago, or most recently Miami to team up with Wade and Bosh. And always on the back-burner is the possibility of him staying in Cleveland, just because it has a special place in his heart. Almost as if he would feel bad for the City of Cleveland if he left. Which he should.

But is that reason enough for him to stay? The fact that he would be quite literally ruining the economy, and ripping the hearts out of an entire city? The fact that if he leaves Cleveland, a city with just as much stupid pride as any city in the U.S., he would immeditaly become the Art Model of his era? Is LeBron ready to feel the hate that every bitter fan in Cleveland has to offer? Becasue if he thinks that he can just f**k us, take off, and never speak to us again, then he is in for a rude awakening.

I have some friends that are complete morons. One of them in peticular has already decided his peronal fate with LeBron saying, “I kind of already hate him, so if he leaves, good riddance to bad rubbish – that game 6 performance was the most sickening thing i’ve ever seen in pro sports – i’m 100% over him and his childish antics. I hope he becomes Karl Malone and never wins s**t.”

These are some harsh words coming from a lifelong Cavs fan. But I have a feeling that he is not the only one that feels this way.

I know that for me personally, I am hoping to all things sacred that LeBron stays in Cleveland – his hometown. A place that has loved him since he was in high school. A team that purposely tanked the couple years before he was drafted just at the chance of being able to get him #1. A team that was willing to do whatever he wanted to try their damndest to get him a title.

But it is also a city that will turn on him the second he turns his back on Cleveland. And as someone who absolutley loves being the center of attention, if LeBron bolts for Chicago or Miami or wherever, I hope he is ready to not be able to set foot in the city he has lived in his entire life.

LeBron – Cavalier fans have put you on notice – I hope you are ready to become the most hated man in Cleveland.
