Next week we will launch the first feature post for our new ‘Lost and Found’ category, and it did not take long to figure out who deserved first honors.
JOCKpost’s ‘Lost and Found’ is a category of posts dedicated to athletes from the past that you may have forgotten about or never heard of. By immortalizing them in the ‘Lost and Found’ we are ensuring that some of their story will be told. There are really no other parameters beyond that; we like to leave it wide open.
Our choice for the most appropriate candidate was a simple one. Larry Doby.
If you are wondering who Larry Doby is, then we’ve made our point already. He shall be honored by JOCKpost, by putting him #1 on our list of stories that were never told loud enough.
‘Lost and Found’ will launch Monday, January 18 with a post honoring Larry Doby. Each day beyond that we will announce who or what the post is featuring the next day. This will continue for the inaugural week through Friday.
After the inaugural week, ‘Lost and Found’ will become a weekly feature. Say it with me now, Hellsyeah!
