You know when sometimes there are people that are just always so nice and it makes you wonder what other motives they might have? I mean, no one should always be happy, and if they aren’t always happy, they damn well should act like it.
Well one of those people just so happens to be Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel. I know there are some people that will say he still has his Youngstown, OH roots inside of him somewhere, but in front of, as well as behind cameras, Jim Tressel has always been one of those people that are almost too nice. Or is he just always one step ahead of the competition?
Being at Ohio State, Tressel doesn’t have the beautiful weather to help persuade future prospects, so he has to use other tactics and/or strategies to bring in top-notch recruits.
Last year, Tressel gave the first interview to a GLBT magazine, obviously trying to find a gem recruit in the gay community.
Well this year, Tressel has struck again…and this time it is by dressing up as Dr. Seuss and going to read “Green Eggs and Ham” at the Ohio School for the Deaf. Once again, a place that no one else would look to recruit.
Not since the TE from “The Replacements” has there been a deaf football player get big-time football action.
But if there is someone out, I’m sure Jim Tressel will be hot on the recruiting trail.
