As all of you know, Jim Tressel is in a world of s**t. He is currently suspended for the first 5 games of the 2011 season, as are the majority of his star players. His program is slowly deteriorating, all while the people of Columbus are just hoping that all of this somehow gets pushed under the metaphorical rug. Needless to say, it has been one hell of a month for Buckeye fans (not to mention the choke-job by the bball team).
However, all of this could be just the beginning.
Some information has come about, and according to a source close to the Columbus Dispatch, Jim Tressel is about a month away from basically being taken down by the NCAA.
Apparently, there is a 1000+ page report about to come out from the NCAA talking about all of the current and former violations he is facing. It apparently dates back to 2006, mentioning a star WR and QB combo who received over $200,000 from a car dealership, which will cause Tressel and Ohio State to vacate wins.
And while this is all just a rumor at this point, there is nothing that could happen that would suprise me. It is obvious some shady s**t has been going on, and needless to say, it would appear more and more is starting to leak out. If any of this is true, Jim Tressel will not be the coach of Ohio State in 2011. Regardless of what Gordan Gee says, he will have no choice but to fire The Vest.
Who knows, maybe the Urban Meyer buying a house in Upper Arlington rumors have more traction to them than we thought?
