Jets Love the Dirty Sanchez
Mark Sanchez says he will not shave his beard until the Jets win the Super Bowl. Well after last night’s victory over the Chargers, the rookie QB is one step closer, and 2 more victories away from having the most famous beard in New York.
This will be the 2nd year in a row that a rookie QB has lead his team to the AFC championship game, (Ravens Joe Flacco) which just goes to show that with a solid defense, and a fantastic beard, anything can happen.
The Jets have been one of the most inconsistent teams we have seen this year. They started off the season as the hottest team in the NFL, but along with Sanchez’s facial hair, they sort of faded into mediocrity.
But it’s no secret that with a good beard comes extreme confidence, and Mark Sanchez is a perfect example. Here is a timeline of Sanchez’s season. It is no surprise that the Jets struggled when the rookie QB was clean shaven.
