Jets Advance To AFC Championship, Beat Chargers

The Jets defense has proven to be playoff tough. Upon holding one of the NFL’s most heralded offenses to just 14 points, they appear prepared to face Peyton Manning next week in what looks like to be a great matchup of offense vs. defense. Next week’s game will be sweet.
What’s most impressive is how they just turned it on midway through the season. Their success also shows that the trend of rookie quarterback/rookie head coach can work. Much like Atlanta of last year, except the Jets appear to be even better.
San Diego hardly looked like the team that had come into the game winners of 11 in a row. Especially at home.
This is not going to go well for Norv Turner. Remember not too long ago the Chargers fired Marty Schottenheimer after a 14-2 season.
As every game goes by this Jets team is looking more and more like the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. Jets fans should be pumped.
