Jay Mariotti Was In Jail This Morning

One of the sports world’s biggest douchebags, Jay Mariotti, has finally landed in jail.

Believe it or not, his crimes are unrelated to the onslaught of s**tfaceness and douchebaggery he inflicts upon the comsuming masses daily.

He’s being held on a felony domestic violence charge. He was released very recently on $50,000 bail.

Supposedly his chick was flirting with some other dude and he got pissed. LA Police say that the two were exchanging harsh words as they got into the vehicle to leave.

The real party started when they got back to the apartment, where Mariotti allegedly pushed and shoved her leaving cuts and bruises.

Many of you are cheering for Mariotti’s hopefully immenent demise, as are we. Mariotti is one of the most smug, intolerable, and most importantly, incorrect, “personalities” in sports media. He has very few fans, and although he boasts of popularity, it’s mostly because people enjoy hating him.

Next up: His lawyer proclaiming the ridiculousness of these charges while smugly predicting his exoneration.

We can only pray that this incident takes his sorry ass off of our flatscreens for good.
