According to reports, Mike Leach has been fired by Texas Tech. While I do feel the situation he put himself in was of his own doing, what does this mean for the future of Texas Tech football? To be honest, up until the Texas-Texas Tech game two years ago, I had no idea where Texas Tech was even located. Now that I know, who in the world is going to want to coach in Lubbock, TX. No offense to the great people of Lubbock (assumption as I have never actually met anyone from there), but there is no way you are going to get a coach that is anything close to Mike Leach.
As someone who has enojoyed the tactics of now former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach, I now begin to wonder where he will land next?
If Cincinnati didn’t take a 2nd rate Brian Kelly, this could have been a great fit.
