Talk about a way to go out.
In what could be the final game in his College career, 17-year old Bryce Harper, who will more than likely be the #1 pick in the upcoming MLB draft, was ejected after what looked like an extremely brief altercation with an umpire.
Harper, who left high school early in order to play JUCO baseball, drew a line in the dirt after being called out on strikes and apparently the umpire didn’t take kind to it. Of course, when it comes to umpires anymore, it seems if you fart too loud in their presence there is a good chance you will be ejected.
But even though it does look like it was a bad call, I’m assuming Harper had to have said something in order to get ejected. Simply flicking some dirt in the air with your bat shouldn’t warrant being ejected.
Since this is his 2nd ejection of the season, Harper will be suspended for the next two games of the season which will more than likely end his college career unless his team, College of Southern Nevada, can win the next two games.

Bryce Harper blows. His splits are terrible against lefties. Getting lots of pub but NOT worth the hype
Don’t tell that to the Nationals. They really, really, really need him to live up to the hype.
That ball was a damn near a foot outside. The umpire needs to go find a new job. That’s not a strike in 9u
