Fan Falls From Stands At Rangers/Indians Game [Video]

For those of you that have sat in the front row on any of the top levels at a sporting event, you have all had this fear. The fear of you somehow stumbling after a foul ball, or any other type of action that would make you fall from the upper deck.

Well this horrible situation just happened to take place tonight at the Rangers vs Indians game.

As Nelson Cruz hits what is probably going to be the most memorable foul ball of his career, a fan reaches over the edge and falls 30 feet from the second level landing on 4 people.

STO said that video of the fall was taken, but that it will not be shown. The guy was apparently conscious after the fall, and he was moving all extremities.  But just by looking at Cruz’s and the umpires reactions, it must have been a pretty bad fall. Not to mention Indians outfielder Trevor Crowe was almost in the fetal position after witnessing the event.
