The teams playing in the NIT must be really pissed. Or they suck so bad they don’t know how to play good defense. Or maybe the players are so miserable they can’t wait to get kicked out.
Either way, we got to see a whole lot of poor sportsmanship yesterday with not one, but two teams engaging in questionable defensive practices to say the least.
Below is a video of Seton Hall’s Herb Pope hitting his man, Darko Cohadarevic from Texas Tech in this balls on two separate occasions. You have to hand it to Cohadarevic for keeping his cool, because I would have f**ked Pope up something fierce if he pulls that s**t on me. Fortunately, Pope was caught and ejected. Then karma came back to pay Texas Tech with a blowout victory.
Then in another game, Jackson State’s Phillips Williams delivered a cheap shot to Mississippi State’s Dee Bost. You got it, right in the berries. Williams was also ejected.
All I can say is these teams need to stop playing dirty and start playing good defense. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the two teams with dirty players both lost. Of course, when you’ve got one the best NBA players in history pulling the same Mickey Mouse bulls**t, they must think it’s OK.

This is really disappointing. This type of play is very easy to miss as a referee. Good thing there are cameras everywhere. Do these idiots really think they’re going to get away with it?
We’re getting closer to water polo.
