According to the Associated Press, there is some confusion as to what happened the night of the murder, but Roux is claiming his innocence. The officer, Sgt. Ntshimane Mogale, was found dead in the street last week, but Roux says he had nothing to do with it even though he had been pulled over for Drunk Driving that same evening by Mogale. (Roux is also getting charged for the drunk driving offense)

His lawyer, Rudi Krause, said the 28-year-old Roux maintains that his car was being stolen and he was acting in self defense. He also added that his client’s credit card had been used at a fast-food restaurant after he was placed in custody.

The court heard that Mogale may have been driving Roux home when an altercation broke out. In an affidavit Krause read in court, Roux, whose full name is Jacobus Stephanus Roux, denied that he attacked Mogale in that way.

Who knows, if only Mogale would have been wearing the Rape Axe, maybe none of this would have happened.

He tried to register at Webb Middle School in Tampa, but school administrators were suspicious.  According to Hegarty, Webb Principal Marcos Murillo walked through the cafeteria at that point and saw Threatts. Hegarty said Murillo told him, “He looks too old to be in middle school.”

British “newspaper” News of the World, has cracked open what could be the worst match fixing ring of all-time in all of professional sports history.

Posing as a high-roller, one of the NOTW’s reporters got on the inside and obtained absolutely crushing video evidence of the fixed events that occurred yesterday that the tipster correctly predicted.

In the video below, you see how he details what is going to happen and when it will happen.  Lo and behold, his predictions came true. He received £150,000 ($232,665) for his correct information.

The tipster, Mazhar Majeed, 35, was been arrested in England after police were shown the video evidence. The players accused in the scandal, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif, Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal are currently being investigated. Their cell phones were confiscated after the match.

This couldn’t come at a worse time for Pakistan, as they try to overcome the crippling ongoing natural disaster, disease and flooding.

Star bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif are the accused fixers, stepping over the line (no-balls) exactly when Majeed said they would.  Bettors can place money on occurances of events, like predicting no-balls.  It’s similar to predicting who will get the first holding penalty in the Super Bowl. 

The detail in which Majeed describes the racket is mind-blowing.  He must be a guy who loves to brag, because he broke it all down for the undercover reporter.

English cricket player Graeme Swann was pulled over at 3 a.m. in his Porsche with a blood alcohol content of 83mg.  The legal limit is 80mg.  In other words, he was barely over the limit.

But that’s not the best part.  The reason he was on the road is because his cat, Max, was trapped under some floorboards and Graeme needed to buy some screwdrivers to rescue the cat.

He had been partying earlier that night and came home to the news that his cat, who had been missing for a few days, needed rescuing.

Nevada Wolf Pack track and field freshman Jackae Bridges was inexplicably arrested on prostitution charges in Reno, Nevada on August 4th, due to a Craigslist sting operation.

I say inexplicably because prostitution is legal in Nevada, just not in Reno (and a few other counties).  She could have gone one county over and banged her brains out, got paid and would be able to afford that Coach purse she always wanted.

I wonder what price range she was in.  She’s not a terrible looking girl.  What you would guys pay for her?  $50? $100? $250?  You know she’s not pulling in the kind of money our girl Zahia does.

She has now had her scholarship pulled and has been suspended from the team.  Join that with public humiliation and you could say she hopefully learns a lesson from all of this.  She needs to get legit, and become a Shady Lady Ranch Shady Lady Girl!

Like I said, normally I would have just brushed this off as a normal baseball saying and moved on. But it also made me want to think of the funniest sexual innuendos in sports. And I’m not talking about your Tight End, Slot Receiver, Wide Receiver nonsense. I want some sayings that are borderline ridiculous. So here is a list that myself along with some help from MC McMahon have put together. The initial injury occurred at the 2010 IKF World Classic Championships that were held at the Orlando World Center Mariott Resort last weekend. The tournament was sponsored by the International Kickboxing Federation. IKF officials could not be reached for comment.

There are many fingers being pointed.  Many of the people placing blame seem to be trying to shift blame elsewhere.  Who was to fault for such a tragedy or was it merely an accident?

WFTV reports that the fighter’s boyfriend and trainer “were upset because there was no medical staff at the fight.” 

Who regulates such an event that the protective gear does not protect and there are no medics or ambulance on sight? 

Lindsay Scheer’s trainer, Eric Haycraft posted his statement as to the events.  Simmons’ boyfriend Chike Lindsay stated “I never really wanted her to fight, I just wanted her to feel stronger and better about herself.” 

Lindsay further spoke out stating that the fight organizers should have never had Scheer fight Simmons as Scheer was an extremely skilled, veteran fighter where Simmons was not.  That compiled with the lack of medical staff – I wouldn’t be surprised if a wrongful death claim comes from all of this.
 
A sheriff’s office spokeswoman says the death is considered an accident as Simmons died Tuesday from fatal injuries 2 days after she had been knocked out at the tournament and life-flighted to the hospital.

The rumor going around was that the pages of the book were contain traces of his blood.  That rumor has been squashed by Tendulkar himself.   While it’s a creative idea, it’s also very creepy.  It’s sort of like wearing a vile of blood around your neck.  Romantic in a sort of vampiry way.

Which is fine if you’re watching True Blood, but as for me, I like my vampires to remain fiction.

But try to think of a better reason why Tendulkar wouldn’t want his blood distributed around the world.  Read his bio real quick.

His career arc reads like this:  he was great, but in his late-twenties/early-thirties he was slowed by injuries and became inconsistent.  For a few years his career seemed to be in constant decline.  He was booed for the first time.  Media was calling for his retirement.  Then he had a shoulder surgery and suddenly came back better than ever. 

He is in the middle of a career high point, a second wind, if you will.  In his late thirties. 

I don’t know, but his career kinda sorta sounds like this guy.  Or this guy.  And especially this guy.

Hard to imagine Barry Bonds distributing his blood to the masses during the height of his season of 73*.  But they’d never use steroids or HGH to be better at cricket would they?  Of course they would.

Twenty-year-old Nicolas Gillett was riding a horse when his spur got caught in the saddle.

“The horse drug him for a while… and, according to one of the witnesses, may have stepped on him,” Lt. Bob Gilliam said.

“The victim came free of the horse, and the horse rolled over the right side and crushed him — that’s my understanding of what happened.”

Supposedly, these kinds of accidents are rare.

“You’re talking thousands and thousands of performances a year,” one man said. “And there’s always the possibility of serious injury every time they climb onto a roughstock animal, but paying the ultimate price like this is very rare.”

Seated behind the court while commentating the James Blake v. Robbin Hasse match, Shriver failed to realize how loud she was speaking. She could easily be heard on the court, which is basically the exact opposite of how she is to conduct herself, especially at Wimbledon!

After letting it go for a while, Blake finally flips out and during the match, yells at Shriver, saying “Amazing you used to play tennis… I can still hear you.” (Video Here -  Blake’s comments start around the 4:26 mark)

Instead of immediately realizing how out of line she was, Shriver continues to speak at the same volume, even going as far as to take a crack at Blake, saying “James just yelled at me . . . I’m way above the court, but evidently he can hear me. He’s got rabbit ears.”

This is completely unacceptable and if ESPN had any integrity, they would offer Blake a formal apology and reprimand Shriver. If I ran ESPN, I’d fire the bitch in a heartbeat.

As a former player, Shriver has no excuse for her actions. But the worst part is that she doesn’t see what was wrong with how she acted! In an interview on ESPN after the incident, she actually tries to justify her actions by saying that she “has a job to do.”

Are you fucking kidding me?!?! Could you imagine David Feherty talking during a Tiger Woods putt and then telling Tiger that he “has a job to do”?!?! Yeah Pam, you have a job to do and its to BE FUCKING QUIET during the goddamn match!

Shriver’s lack of logic and her twisted justification is an indictment on exactly how fucking stupid she is. It’s just a shame that this wasn’t during a John McEnroe match where Shriver most likely would’ve gotten what she deserved… a racket to the head!

The final set has been going on for over 5 hours on it’s own, as both players are struggling to even return a serve. There have been numerous records set in this game already, including longest match, set, and most aces in a single match by John Isner.

I just can’t even imagine the pain these guys are going to be in tomorrow! I understand they are professional athletes, but I am in fairly good shape, and playing tennis for an hour leaves me feeling about the same as I do after doing P90X. It is absolutely miserable, but a great way to stay in shape.

You know the fans that are able to stick around for the entire match are going to have a horrible case of stiff neck. But at least this time it wont go along with lock-jaw, right ladies?

UPDATE: The match was suspended due to darkness with the score tied 59-59 in the 5th set. They have a total playing time of exactly 10 hours. The 5th set alone has been going on for 7 hours 6 minutes.

The FDA is one step closer to approving a new morning after pill, which will undoubtedly decrease every football, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, volleyball, badminton player’s risk of knocking up some hoochie just looking for a free ride. The new pill, which will increase the days after cum-sumption from 3 to 5 days, will allow athletes extra time to do the right thing and keep their child support payments to a minimun.

Unfortunately, for guys like Travis Henry and Evander Holyfield this pill wasn’t around earlier – it could have saved them from 11 different happy meals a piece. And even more so for the New York Jets, who could have saved themselves $500,000 they had to front for Antonio Cromartie’s child support payments.

Now while there are still definitely going to be athletes who prefer to raw dog and bail, at least this gives them a chance to to take care of things in the morning -  but we all know they won’t.

As long as there are ladies willing to spread their legs, there will be stupid athletes willing to blow their load inside of them.

Personally, I think league Player’s Associations need to force athletes to carry these pills around at all times. Talk about a fucking sweet-ass marketing campaign.

After watching just a few hours of World Cup this morning, I can still hear the buzzing stuck in my head a couple hours later. I almost find myself wondering who’s outside weed whacking.

Ear plug manufactures and retailers are surely cringing after hearing this announcement. After all, the vuvuzelas have been music to their ears, in the form of bulging bank accounts.

“I didn’t have the ability, I didn’t have the balls, this is not my thing.”

While standing inside the ring in front of hundreds of screaming lunatics, he came to his senses and probably had awful flashbacks of his previous leg goring.

His actions come as no surprise, honestly. But the bigger surprise is what happened to him afterward. He was arrested for breach of contract.

He paid a $500 fine and got his ass back in the unemployment line.
