Brazilian Soccer Player Robson Gets Red Card, Pepper Spray, Genus Coach Resigns [Video]

In the 64th minute of a heated Brazilian soccer match between Genus and Moto Clube, Genus player Robson got red carded for an over-aggressive tackle.

In spite of the ref insistence, Robson refused to leave the field.  Instead his teammates tried to intimidate the ref and argued vehemently.  The ref called the cops (in full riot gear) and they blasted the players with pepper spray (see video).

Obviously the players kept talking s**t because the cops were just following them off the field, spraying at will.

The game was suspended, but Genus President has asked for the 3-0 score to stand, thus forfeiting the game.  After the incident, Genus coach and 7 players, including Robson, have since resigned from the team.

Oregon could learn a thing or two from these guys in the field of big-time meltdowns.  They seem to have it nailed.
