Brazilian Ref Stabs and Kills Player During Game

The time has come, and finally referees are tired of getting harassed and abused on a daily basis. And one of them in Brazil has finally started to retaliate, but I never thought it would have been taken this far.

Apparently, during a futbol match in Brazil, Referee Gregorio Edio Francisco Chaves, decided to pull out a knife and stab Brazilian player, Jose Ramos da Silva, in the chest. The ref then turned to the victim’s brother and stabbed him in the back numerous times.

The victim died on the field, and his brother is being treated for what appears to be non-fatal injuries. The ref, however, is now on the run as apparently they were not able to apprehend him during the match.

It was only a matter of time before referees just couldn’t take it any longer, but there had to be some deaper blood then just a regular argument that would lead the ref to stab the player – especially since the ref was already carrying a knife!!??

I guess all it takes is an innocent slap to the face from a ref, and it all goes downhill from there.
