It’s no secret that we like sports. If anyone could understand that teaching kids about sports early it would be us. But maybe, just maybe, this is a bit much.
After about 20 minutes of YouTube scrubbing, it doesn’t take long to find a collection of videos of various 1.5 to 2.5 year olds reciting every NFL team by helmet.
Kids memories are like sponges and it’s always surprising to witness them pull off such feats. But after watching a couple videos you really hope these kids know how to do other things, like solve math problems or read a word or two. Hopefully these kids at least have their mom and dad’s cell phone numbers memorized in case they get lost.
Who am I kidding? This is America. What could possibly be more important than knowing your NFL teams?

These videos are pretty funny, but you’re right, I do wonder if these kids get taught other things.
