BlackBerry is down again
For the second time in a week BlackBerry has been down for more than a few hours. At this point I would really like some kind of refund. It’s not like this damn thing is cheap.

“Apparently, a flaw in two recently released versions of BlackBerry Messenger are the cause of BlackBerry’s e-mail outage last night.
RIM confirmed that its BlackBerry service had experienced its second e-mail outage in five days. In a Wednesday morning statement the company said the “Root cause is currently under review, but based on preliminary analysis, it currently appears that the issue stemmed from a flaw in two recently released versions of BlackBerry Messenger (versions 5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56) that caused an unanticipated database issue within the BlackBerry infrastructure”. ”
Are you kidding me?? I have a Blackberry for work and can’t use it because RIM has an outage due to an instant messenger and all I get is an apology statement. I want compensated!!
I’m impressed with RIM – by the way who names their company RIM?
