The Big Ten Is Offically Up For Grabs

Purdue flexed their muscles last night in East Lansing.  It was the first victory for Purdue at Michigan St. since 1998.  E’twaun Moore was the star of the game as he poured in 25 points in an extremely hostile environment. 

The ever-impressive Jajaun Johnson added 19 and proved even more that at 6″10, he can hit from anywhere on the court. 

Chris Allen lit it up for the Spartans with 21 points as he had to carry the load considering Kalin Lucas was not even close to 100%.  If the Spartans want to stay on pace for a Big Ten title, they need Lucas, their leader, back to full strength.
 
The Big Ten is now officially up for grabs.  Five teams including Michigan St, Purdue, Illinois, Ohio State, and Wisconsin are bunched at the top.  Ohio State may have the best starting 5 in the conference, and arguably the best player in the country in Evan Turner.  However, the fact that they only play 6 guys may haunt them later in the season due to fatigue. 

All five teams are consistently good and it should make for one hell of a Big Ten tournament come March.
