Bad News: Massive Server Catastrophe

Well, I guess this was bound to happen someday.

We lost about two weeks worth of posts and comments. Data corruption was everywhere, including in our backups.

Live and learn. We know what happened, and how to avoid it.

Thanks to Google cache, we will be able to rebuild the last two weeks of posts. So if you notice the same stories are getting republished on our RSS feed or somewhere else, we apologize for the annoyance.

Just be happy you don’t have to sit here with us and rebuild two weeks worth of work in one night.
