Albert Pujols Is Still The Best Player In Baseball
Let the lovefest begin. As if there was ever any question, Albert Pujols is the best player in baseball. Everyone already knows (A-Roid who?), but he didn’t waste his time reminding us with two home runs this afternoon against the Reds.
It would be awesome to see him take the home run crown wire-to-wire this season. It wouldn’t surprise anyone — if anyone could do it, it’s him. The 3-time MVP’s very first at-bat of the season was a blast over the left center field fence in the first inning off Aaron Harang.
As baseball fans we will be constantly reminded by the media about The Machine and his unworldly ways, and how we are witnessing history in the making.
