The Minnesota Timberwolves’ highest paid player got busted for DWI early this morning as he left downtown Minneapolis. 

Just another case in the long line of unbelievably stupid DWI’s.  These guys would have loved to have saved his ass.

Al Jefferson was the leading scorer last night  for the Wolves, who was pulled over for going 56 mph in a 40, drifting left and not using his turn signal to switch lanes.

State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske said a field sobriety test led to Jefferson’s arrest.  One can only guess that means he failed it.   

A blood test was administered and the results are pending a Bureau of Criminal Apprehension analysis.
