According To Adrian Peterson, NFL players Are “Slaves”

If you read the title of this article and are shaking your heads in disbelief, this is indeed real. You heard me; Adrian Peterson just compared the NFL Labor to Slavery. Now I’m no expert on slavery, but I am pretty sure that Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman just turned in their graves…literally.

I always knew that some athletes in the NFL were just plain dumb, but congratulations AP, you just topped them all. There is a fine line between being stupid or ludicrous, from being brainless, retarded, and completely ignorant. AP just made JaMarcus Russel and Michael Vick look like geniuses.

In one quote he made the term “Slavery” a joke, an embarrassment, an insult to those who really suffered from this travesty.

“It’s modern-day slavery, you know? People kind of laugh at that, but there are people working at regular jobs who get treated the same way, too.”

No wonder the whole world thinks the United States’ education is a joke. With Adrian Peterson’s latest quote, the University of Oklahoma’s education system just got thrown under the bus, big time. How did he even get through college without knowing the proper definition of slavery?! What’s next, are you going to compare the owners to Hitler, or better yet Stalin?

AP, I want you to listen very carefully to what I am about to tell you. SLAVES didn’t make millions of dollars; in fact most of them never saw a DIME for their labor! SLAVES’ labor was not considered a job, or a “workplace”. SLAVES were…well SLAVES! They didn’t have freedom, they didn’t get to choose if 9 million a year is “ok” to live on, and they certainly didn’t have any freedom of SPEECH!

So please, do us all a favor, SHUT UP and go sit down in your big ol’ mansion and read the book Uncle Tom’s Cabin. That is, of course, assuming you know how to read.
